me dad was born in harold street toxteth park liverpool.married my mum rose 29th december 1941 , me dad fought in world war two they had eight children.mam died on 18th november 1983.dad was very much a family man he loved going to butlins every year with the kids he idolised bing crosby infact me dad could do a very good impression of bing he was a good singer and to listen to him you would have thought it was bing singing .me dad and I were very close we had a special bond ,could talk for hours about anything I would never get fed up listening to him talking about growing up or about fighting in the war he was always so interesting to listen to.I miss our chats and our glasses of wine especially on sundays after dinner.he was my rock i used to think he would live forever he was a wonderful father .loved always anne xx
